Having shot the OSCAR winning Best Foreign Film for 1996, "KOLYA" and
born in World War II Prague, Vladimir is a graduate from FAMU (Film Acadamy of Prague), where he studied from 1964 - 1969, and followed that with the normal progression from Focus Puller, operator (including Steadicam) to DP in 1981. Since then, he has logged two dozen features, plus some TV serials and dramas.
