Summary
This interactive full motion video was a breakthrough in the Interactive industry. It was the second of its kind to feature live action cinematography.
Starring the Austrailian music group INXS, this CD-ROM game allowed the viewer to interactively cut their own music videos to the music of INXS, allowing them to choose from over a thousand samples of originally directed film footage visuals and stock video clips.
The viewer could then add sound effects and editorial special visual effects to their final piece.
"INXS - Make My Video" was considered by many to be the springboard of the whole CD-ROM industry. It also won the Interactive Industry's highest award, The Gold Medal (THE OSCAR OF THE INTERACTIVE INDUSTRY), as best new product of the year.
